The goal of this program is to provide Healthcare Professionals the opportunity to develop clinical competence, gain compassionate caring skills and identify resources for persons living with HIV infection. The conference is designed to bring faculty with state of the art knowledge of HIV therapy and care, together with participants who
are eager to learn.

Upon completion of the conference, the participants should be able to:
• Describe the epidemiology of HIV/AIDS
• Identify the common dermatological conditions
associated with HIV/AIDS
• Assess the current challenges to the treatment
• Discuss methods of prevention for positive individuals
• Identify the clinical and psycho-social issues in the
management of adolescents with HIV/AIDS
• List the measures used to manage HIV/AIDS in the
substance abuse population
